About Us
The Austin Nanny COnnection was started in August of 2009 by myself, Patricia Kinnie. I started ANC when I reached out to particpate in another group only to find out it isn't in existence anymore. Currently the group consists of me and a few
other nannies who get together with our charges whenever possible, usually on Wednesdays or Friday. But as the membership grows we will become much more structured and have definitive plans.
About the founder
I'm originally from Maryland and moved to Austin in 2004. I've been babysitting since I was old enough to be left alone but I didn't make the decision to make being a nanny my career until moving to Austin. So I've been an "official" nanny for five years now.
I have the luck of working for the best family one could ask for. I take care of one toddler boy who is super sweet although definitely all boy! I was recently awarded 2009 Full-Time Nanny of the Year by my nanny agency.
